JIANG JIAXIN

The second balloon project was completed in the first phase (2020.12.28-2021.1.28), during the stay at the Nanchuan Lixiang Lake Residency Base of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts. Through several visits in the villages near Chongqing, what impresses the artist most is the farming phenomenon that can be seen everywhere. Through researches, he discovers that local residents' understanding and use of cultivated land have expanded the artist's understanding of cultivated land. For the surrounding areas of Chongqing, the arable land here is not a large area of flat land. It is dependent on the local stratigraphic structure. Any place a person can get involved can be turned into arable land, and the vegetables as well as the land that can be seen everywhere present a three-dimensional form.

The relationship between vegetables and land is no longer single, which subverts the artist's perception and understanding of the relationship and structure of the two. Vegetables and the land, because of the relationship and structure of the localized reality, the local and large-scale space reconstruction and presentation created, inspire the artist's perception and exploration of the localized space. The artist uses balloons, which contain the idea of uncertainty, to establish simple connections with the land, and then explores the relationship between the space concept and the space concept in reality.

第二次气球项目是在四川美术学院南川黎香湖驻留基地驻留期间的第一阶段（2020.12.28-2021.1.28）完成的作品。通过实地走访，最让艺术家印象深刻的是随处可以见到的农耕现象。通过交流和走访，当地居民对于耕地的理解和利用，扩展了艺术家对于耕地的理解。对于重庆周边来说，这里的耕地范围不是大面积的平地，依附于当地的地层结构，凡是可以涉足的地方都可以变成耕地，随处可见的菜和土地呈现出来立体化的形态。

菜和土地的关系变得不再单一，这颠覆了艺术家对这两者关系以及结构的感知和理解。菜和土地，因为在地化的现实的关系和结构，所创造出来的局部和大面积的空间的改造和呈现，启发了艺术家对在地化的空间的感知和探索。艺术家利用具有不确定性的、两种绿色的气球，建立出来简单的和土地的关联，进而探索现实中的空间概念和空间的关系。
